A massive thank you to all our crowdfunders!

A special Corinthians film shout out to:

Whether you gave £1 or £1,000 to our Corinthians documentary crowdfund, every single contribution made a huge difference! Thanks to you we've been able to produce a 90-mins documentary feature film bringing to life the story of The Corinthians: We Were The Champions.

We'd like to say a massive heart-felt thank you to every single person who donated to the crowdfund and helped support the film in any way from all the crew, team, players and families involved in the film. With your help we have been able to unearth archive, create amazing animation, film additional footage with Corinthians players and get the whole thing edited. We can't wait to share it with you all soon! You will be the first to know when and where it can be seen on screen. Until then, a special online thank you to the following crowdfunders:

Mark Healey, Alyson Norris, Claire Judge, Luciana Amati, Mike Roberts, Sam Griffiths, Eve Holt, Helen Pankhurst, Jane Crombleholme, David Jacques, Alice Macdonald, Vicki Whittington, Mary Starkey, Kay Nattrass, George Hill, Elise Wilson, Laura Kennedy, Victoria Lynch, Rima Sen, Dianne Bourne, Adge Lane, Hazel Reeves, Caroline Pankhurst, Fiona McGarva, Emma Hastings, Louise Tweedie, Rachael Smith, Lisa Miller, Alex Jessup, Jess Cully, Peter Huddleston, Louise Koch, Nicola Ward, Katy Rubin, Sarah Church, Denise Ireland, Rachel Elliott, Andy Baly, Vanessa Bara, Jackie Sanctuary, Rebecca Calderon, Stephen O'Neill, Oliver Hartmann, Mary Brennan, Mark Goulder, Ollie McGrath, Anne Wilkening, Laura & Richard Gazal, Helen Childers, Luca Byrne, Lauren Cronshaw, Mike Squire and Caroline Roberts-Cherry.

How a crowdfund kicked it off

When we first met former Corinthians players at the National Football Museum back in 2022, we promised then that we would make a documentary film celebrating their story.  When we launched our indiegogo crowdfund in 2023 we had 10 amazing interviews with former players - thanks to the amazing crew who pitched in to make it happen - but we really needed help to be able to make the film itself. And, wow, how the crowdfunders responded. Some people we knew - and others complete strangers who just felt inspired by the story and wanted to help get it on screen.  Thanks to you all we have been able to produce The Corinthians: We Were The Champions.  And it was all kickstarted with our amazing army of crowdfunders! THANK YOU!
