IN PRODUCTION: Check out the trailer for our forthcoming feature length documentary
*CURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION*
Our first feature-length documentary film, The Corinthians: We Were The Champions is now in production. Due for release in 2025.
Playing at the height of the FA ban on women, The Corinthians Ladies Football Club, from Fog Lane Park in Manchester, are the finest female football team that time forgot. Defying the establishment, they played for over two decades, jetting off abroad to become world-famous pioneers.
Yet, at home they were sidelined, ridiculed and stopped from playing on official pitches. The establishment wanted them banned - this film will give them back their place in history.
Working exclusively with surviving players - and told entirely in their own words - our groundbreaking documentary tells their full rebellious story for the first time on film. Including wins against Germany as far back as 1957 and an unofficial European cup game against Juventus in 1970.
But this is no ordinary sporting documentary - prepare to be entertained as these Mancunian rebels reveal the real-life highs and lows of their battle against the system. Complete with a specially commissioned animation bringing their exploits back to life and a rowdy soundtrack from up-and-coming Manchester band Loose Articles.
Be a fan. Back the film.
Give The Corinthians their shot at history.
